On Thursday, May 16, 2024, the highly esteemed Sound Level Meter User Day took place in Breda, organized by the ENMO Academy. This event brought together a diverse group of users of sound level meters Types 2245, 2250, 2255, and 2270 for a day filled with learning, networking, and sharing practical experiences.

The event was a great success, thanks in large part to the active participation, attention, and dedication of all attendees. We would like to sincerely thank everyone for their involvement and enthusiasm throughout the day!

Plenary sessions

The day began with a captivating presentation by ENMO’s Managing Director, Dirk Bogaerts, who took the participants on an enchanting journey through the world of sound. Sound is, after all, something magical; an invisible force that affects our daily lives in countless ways. We cannot see it, but it is there, and together we can make it visible. This introduction was followed by a series of informative presentations on the latest developments in sound level meters, directly from the HBK factory. A particularly relevant topic discussed was the sound from padel courts, a growing sport that also brings challenges related to noise pollution. Additionally, there was a focus on ENMO Services and the benefits they offer to sound level meter users, aimed at providing insights into support options and calibrations.

Workshops and Practical Experiences

One of the highlights of the day was the interactive workshop afternoon. Participants had the opportunity to delve into specific topics and enhance their knowledge through hands-on sessions and practical examples (including the 2255 in combination with the building acoustics kit).

These sessions were led by experienced workshop instructors who shared their insights and experiences, leading to lively discussions and valuable exchanges of ideas.
